North Atlantic Brass is a brass quintet made up of five musicians from Iceland and Denmark, all based in Copenhagen. The group is an active part of the Danish musical scene, performing regularly with major orchestras like The Royal Danish Orchestra, Copenhagen Phil, and Odense Symphony Orchestra. As a chamber ensemble, North Atlantic Brass has earned recognition for their dedication and musicianship. They were honored to be selected for the Philip Jones International Brass Ensemble Competition in Birmingham in the summer of 2023. In 2024, they were awarded 1st prize at the International Trumpet Guild (ITG) Ryan Anthony Memorial Trumpet Competition, a milestone that reflects their growing presence on the international stage. With a blend of Nordic influences and a passion for brass music, North Atlantic Brass is committed to bringing their unique sound to audiences both in Denmark and beyond.
