David Khrikuli was born on the 26th of April, 2001, in Tbilisi, Georgia. He started playing the piano by the age of eight at the Z. Paliasvhili Central Music School for Gifted Children, with his first teacher being D. Tsintsadze. He currently studies at the Reina Sofia School of Music in Madrid, Spain, with Professor G. Eguizarova, who previously taught musicians such as Radu Lupu and Arcadi Volodos. Since September 2022 Khrikuli has been continuing his studies in Madrid with S. Youdenich. He has won many international competitions, both in Georgia and abroad. He has successfully performed in solo recitals and group concerts together with chamber and symphonic orchestras from various countries. Khrikuli has been working with the Georgian State String Quartet for a number of years. He has attended masterclasses with musicians such as A. Vardi, E. Virsaladze, N. Freire, and E. Indjic, among others.
