Križanke is not only a venue for the events of the Ljubljana Festival, it is a cultural monument of national importance. The complex owes its present-day appearance to the 1955 remodelling by Jože Plečnik, one of Slovenia’s most important architects.
The Ljubljana Festival organisers offer all those who love architecture the opportunity to see the various parts of the Križanke complex every working day between 10.00 am and 3.00 pm. Visits take in the Foyer, the Pergola, the Summer Theatre, the Hell’s Courtyard and the Knights’ Hall. Visits must be booked in advance via email to tina.berk@ljubljanafestival.si.
The price of a visit is €1.00 per person, to be paid in advance by bank transfer to the Ljubljana Festival bank account on receipt of a pro forma invoice.
