Žiga Kališnik started his musical education at the age of eight when he began learning the diatonic accordion at Laško–Radeče Music School. He then began studying the tuba with David Kajič, under whose guidance he sat and passed the matura examination at Celje First Gymnasium. On completion of his secondary education he was named the best musician of Celje First Gymnasium and Celje Music School. He is currently a secondyear student at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. He has attended masterclasses with such acclaimed tuba players as Roger Bobo, Sergio Carolino, Steven Mead, Josef Steinböck, Uroš Vegelj, James Gourlay, Nejc Merc and Uroš Košir. He has won first and second prizes at numerous regional and international competitions, including first prizes at the Davorin Jenko International Music Competition in Belgrade in 2016 and 2018, first prizes at Varaždin Woodwind & Brass in 2016 and 2017 and a second prize at the national TEMSIG (Young Musicians of Slovenia) competition in 2017. He has also taken part in competitions as a member of various chamber ensembles and orchestras, with which he has likewise won first prizes.

Pianist Karine Gishyan Roškar began playing the piano at the age of four. She graduated with distinction from the secondary special music school at the Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg State Conservatory and then from the conservatory itself, where she also completed a master’s degree in 2008. After teaching at a music school in Saint Petersburg for three years, she moved to Slovenia and is now employed at Celje Music School as a piano teacher and accompanist. She has won numerous international music competitions in France, Bulgaria and Russia. In 2003 she won a first prize at a music competition at the Royal Academy of Music in London and was named best accompanist at the same competition. She has given concert tours in Poland, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Austria, the USA, Netherlands, England and Slovenia. In 2006 she performed as a soloist at the ceremony conferring honorary citizenship of Saint Petersburg on Russian president Vladimir Putin. She has worked as an accompanist at the Slovene National Theatre in Maribor and the Slovene National Theatre Opera and Ballet in Ljubljana and with acclaimed Slovene musicians such as Mate Bekavac, Miloš Mlejnik, Sabina Cvilak, Karolina Šantl Zupan, Alessandro Švab and Stanko Arnold.

The Novak Gvozdanović Guitar Duo began playing together in the autumn of 2019 under the guidance of teacher Jerko Novak. The duo consists of guitarists Domen Gvozdanović and Samo Novak, both of whom began their musical careers at the lower music school of the Ljubljana Conservatory of Music and Ballet, where they studied with Mladen Bucić. They are currently continuing their education at the Secondary School of Music and Ballet in Ljubljana – Domen Gvozdanović with Jerko Novak and Samo Novak with Anton Črnugelj. They have given numerous public and private performances, including a concert at Domžale Music School in February 2020. In March 2020 the duo took part in the national TEMSIG (Young Musicians of Slovenia) competition, where they came second with 99 points and received a gold plaque.
