Žan Pečenik is a graduate of the Maribor Conservatory of Music and Ballet, where he studied with Nejc Merc for four years. He took part in many national and international competitions in the solo and chamber music categories while still at secondary school. His notable achievements included a first prize and gold plaque at Varaždin Woodwind & Brass in the solo category and a first prize and gold plaque with special commendation for scoring 100 points with the chamber ensemble SlideZone. He has attended masterclasses with world-renowned teachers such as Roger Bobo, Steven Mead, Thomas Rüedi and James Gourlay. Over the years he has appeared as a soloist with various orchestras, most notably in April 2019 with the Wind Orchestra of the Maribor Conservatory of Music and Ballet, when he performed The Green Hill by Bert Appermont. He has been a regular member of the Paloma Wind Orchestra of the Municipality of Šentilj since the age of ten and a member of Brass Band Slovenija since 2017. He received the Dr Roman Klasinc Diploma for outstanding artistic achievements in music for 2018/2019. He is currently continuing his musical training at the Ljubljana Academy of Music, where he is a first-year undergraduate student in the class of Nejc Merc.

The pianist Tomaž Zamuda began his musical career at the Ormož Music School, then continued at the Maribor Conservatory of Music and Ballet, the Academy of Music in Ljubljana and the University of Music and Theatre in Leipzig. He has won prizes in national and international competitions and has twice received the Prešeren Prize of the Ljubljana Academy of Music. He has performed as a soloist with the orchestras of the Slovenian Philharmonic, the Slovenian Armed Forces and the national broadcaster RTV. After finishing his studies he worked at the Slovenian National Theatre in Maribor and taught at the Ormož Music School, and now he is an instrumental accompanist and piano teacher at the Maribor Conservatory of Music and Ballet.
