Dear visitors,
Margaret Atwood’s The Penelopiad is returning to the Festival Ljubljanastage. Homer’s Penelope, the faithful and patient wife who has for centuries served as a perfect example of the subjugation of women, is completely transformed by Margaret Atwood. In The Penelopiad, Penelope and her twelve maids are made the centre of the story and brought up to date. Is Penelope lying or telling the truth?
We invite you to join us in watching The Penelopiad, as directed by Livija Pandur, on 2, 7 and 8 November at 7.30 pm in the Knights’ Hall at Križanke.
Tickets are available for purchase online at ljubljanafestival.si, or at the Križanke box office, service stations of the Petrol Group and other Eventim ticket outlets.
Ticket holders for shows that were cancelled in September must exchange the old tickets for new ones:
- tickets may be physically exchanged at the Križanke box office weekdays from 10 am to 4 pm;
- to exchange tickets bought online, it is necessary to purchase new tickets and send a confirmation to blagajna@ljubljanafestival.si, together with the details necessary to receive a refund for the original purchase.
