Today was the introductory meeting of the 1st Ljubljana Festival International Piano Competition. The competitiors were greeted by the artistic director of the competition Epifanio Comis and after that the draw for the order of performances followed.
The selection of the piano to be played by the competitors is still in progress. They can choose from Steinway & Sons, Fazioli and Yamaha pianos.
Tomorrow, 25 February, Evgenii Evgrafov will be the first to perform at 10.00 am and then the contestants will follow each other in alphabetical order. We kindly invite you join us in the Slovenian Philharmonic. Tickets for all the events of the first two rounds are free. You can pick them up at Križanke Box Office from Monday to Friday from 10.00 am till 4.00 pm and one hour before the start of each event at the Slovenian Philharmonic.
