Dear visitors to Festival Ljubljana events,
The 71st Ljubljana Festival, a two-and-a-half-month celebration of culture, art and music, has concluded, leaving behind enchanted audiences and many unforgettable moments.
We got to experience more than 100 memorable events featuring over 6,000 performers from more than 50 countries, and enjoyed by almost 52,000 local and foreign visitors. The programme offered concerts by top orchestras, exceptional soloists, and chamber ensembles, as well as ballet and theatre performances, and musicals. For the eighth year running part of the Ljubljana Festival was held on the Ljubljanica River, and also included successful Master Classes, the International Art Colony and a sculpture exhibition dedicated to Vojko Štuhec, and for the youngest art lovers there was the now traditional Little Art Colony.
As the lovely memories of this culturally rich summer still linger, preparations for the 72nd Ljubljana Festival are already underway. But before that, we invite you to the 31st Young Virtuosi international music cycle that will take place between October and April, the 7th Winter Festival Ljubljana in February 2024, and the 38th Slovenian Music Days to be held in April next year.
We thank you for your support and attendance at the 71st Ljubljana Festival. We are proud that you are part of our story, and look forward to seeing you at our future events.
With warm regards,
the Festival Ljubljana team
