Dear visitors of Ljubljana Festival events,

we have concluded another festival summer, one that was filled with new challenges. Nevertheless, we spent it in the company of top Slovenian and foreign artists. Following the announcement of the end of the epidemic, the 68th Ljubljana Festival was the only festival in Europe and around the world to take place on such a scale.

We are pleased that you attended events in large numbers, regardless of the current measures and event restrictions, and thus contributed to the preservation of culture and cultural events during this exceptional period of time.

We staged more than 70 events featuring more than 2300 artists from over 25 countries. For the fifth year in a row, the Ljubljana Festival was also held on tourist boats on the Ljubljanica River; we further held masterclasses, the 23rd International Fine Arts Colony, and even Little Art Colony for young art lovers.

Preparations for the 69th Ljubljana Festival are already in full swing. Until then, we kindly invite you to the 28th Young Virtuosi cycle taking place from October to April, the 5th Winter Festival in February 2021, and the 35th Slovenian Music Days in April 2021.
