Nabeel Hayek

Nabeel Hayek first started learning the piano at the age of seven and is currently studying with Professor A. Vardi and Professor A. Zohar at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, Tel Aviv University. In addition, Hayek is coached by the Maestro M. Perahia several times a year. Since 2014 he has also received four excellency scholarships given by the America-Israel Cultural Foundation. In 2021 Hayek served as a junior jury member at the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition. He regularly performs recitals on Israeli radio for the classical music station Kan Voice of Music, has performed twice for the Arthur Rubinstein International Music Society, and several times with three of the major orchestras in Israel, the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, Israel Chamber Orchestra and Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon LeZion.
