Aleksandar Raos was born in 1998 in Niš, Serbia. He entered music school at the age of six, in the class of professor K. Vukić. In 2014, he started his studies at the Faculty of Arts, University of Niš, as the youngest student in the class of A. Serdar. He completed his bachelor’s degree in the same year and continued his master’s degree at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana and Faculty of Arts in Niš, in the same class. After finishing his master’s in Ljubljana, Raos entered the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg as a Konzertexamen student in the class of A. Madžar. He is also a holder of Live Music Now scholarship from the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation. He has participated in many seminars and masterclass courses given by prominent pianists, such as H. Haas, A. Serdar, Y. Kot, G. Gruzman, A. Tyshayeva, K. Gekić, L. Dorfman, and S. Kovacevich. He has performed several times at cultural and humanitarian events, including the Evening Concert at the Gallery of the Serbian Academy of Science and Arts in Belgrade, Evening of Chopin in Trstenik, Festival Constantinus in Niš, music festivals in Ćuprija, Smederevo, Vrnjačka Banja and Niš, a concert with the Belgrade Radio Orchestra at the Kolarac University in Belgrade, and several chamber music concerts organised by the Tekiart agency across Serbia, as well as other performances in Niš, Belgrade, Vienna, Ljubljana, Maribor, Hamburg and the City of Rhodes.
