Songs of the world about the absurdity of war and hatred, songs of freedom, peace, coexistence, love and tolerance.

Lara Jankovič is a Slovene singer who is also familiar to the public as a presenter and actress. Accompanied by guitarists Ravi Shrestha and Tilen Stepišnik, she will sing songs from different countries of the world, partly in their original languages and partly in Slovene. Through these songs she addresses the good that is in her and others and sings about accepting and respecting one’s fellow human beings and the eternal desire for coexistence and tolerance.
“A great deal of courage, resistance, comradeship and solidarity were necessary to achieve freedom and peace, which came at the cost of many victims and many tragic losses. Large measures of patriotism and national consciousness were also required. It is right that we should always carry in ourselves this memory, respect, awareness and gratitude. But it is also right to move forwards. Time marches inexorably on and we must do everything in our power to maintain awareness of the importance of peace and freedom.”
