On 8 and 10 July Cankarjev Dom’s Gallus Hall will host two performances of one of Giuseppe Verdi’s most famous operas, Il trovatore, as part of the 72nd Ljubljana Festival.
The Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino invites you to join the 200-member cast as an extra and become part of this remarkable production.
Roles and terms & conditions of participation:
- two witches / Azucena’s mothers – 2 men, age 30–40, height 170–180 cm, good physical fitness and good acting skills
- five nuns – 2 to 3 men and 2 to 3 women, age 30–40, height 170–180 cm, good physical fitness and good acting skills
- double for Leonora – 1 woman, age 30–40, height 165–170 cm, good physical fitness and good acting skills
Required availability: 22 and 23 June and 5–10 July. The exact timetable is given below:

- 11.30 am–1.30 pm and 3.00 pm–6.30 pm, rehearsals with director
