CONGRESS SQUARE is one of Ljubljana’s most important squares. It is bounded to the west by Slovenska Cesta and to the north by the prolongation of Šubičeva Ulica. Zvezda Park extends along one side of Congress Square.
On 28 July 2021 Congress Square was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List as part of the Works of Jože Plečnik in Ljubljana.
