The Slovenian Youth Orchestra will be accepting new members, who should be secondary school students of conservatories in Slovenia, graduate students of the Academy of Music in Ljubljana and Slovenian students studying elsewhere in Europe, are 16 to 26 years old, and play the violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, French horn, trombone, tuba or percussion.
Candidates should apply online and submit a video of themselves playing the repertoire specified for their instrument.
Musicians studying abroad will be reimbursed for their travel expenses, and accommodation will be provided during the rehearsals and concerts.
The Slovenian Youth Orchestra will perform under the baton of Živa Ploj Peršuh on 1 March at the 6th Winter Festival.
