Mateja Hladnik graduated from the Ljubljana Academy of Music, where she studied under Janez Lovše. She currently works as an accompanist at the academy.
She performs widely as an accompanist at auditions, concerts, recordings, summer workshops, seminars and competitions, where she has received several awards for accompaniment and artistic collaboration.
