Ken Nakasako was born in 1993 in Osaka, Japan and began playing the piano at the age of five. After he graduated first on the list from the Toho Gakuen College of Music, where he studied with Prof. Fujiko Yamada and Prof. Shigeo Neriki, he moved to Germany and continued studying at the University of the Arts Berlin with Prof. Pascal Devoyon, Rikako Murata and Prof. Lucas Blondeel. Ken has been awarded prizes in numerous competitions, including the first prize at the Swedish International Duo Competition in Katrineholm, Sweden(2017) and the top prize at the Artur-Schnabel Competition in Berlin, Germany (2017). Ken is currently engaged by the University of the Arts Berlin as a collaborative pianist.
