Vlado Kreslin’s velvet voice and endlessly poetic words have been creating a special Slovene musical story for decades, with sold-out concerts and a huge number of fans of all ages. The softness of the melodies and the timeless messages full of wisdom that define the music of Vlado Kreslin are captured in an impressive discography that includes a long list of hits. Although his background is in rock music, specifically the groups Horizont and Martin Krpan, with which he established his career as a young man, his talent has revealed itself most clearly in a personal, confessional genre, in a revival of folk music that lies at the intersection between the singer-songwriter genre and traditional chanson. He will be joined on stage in Ljubljana by Beltinška Banda and Mali Bogovi. Vlado Kreslin’s music can move an audience to tears, join lovers in an embrace and get the crowd moving on the dance floor. This year, Kreslin will sing a farewell to summer at Congress Square.
*Festival Ljubljana discounts do not apply to the concert by Vlado Kreslin.
