With her astonishing vocal abilities, thrilling tone and first-rate acting talent, Russian soprano Anna Netrebko is an idol of the opera-going public. Her dazzling star power has lit up the world’s most prestigious stages. She has featured in Time magazine’s annual list of the 100 most influential people, and Musical America has called her “a genuine superstar for the 21st century”. Following her stunning concert at the 68th Ljubljana Festival, she returns to the Ljubljana stage with the recital Day and Night, which she debuted in Graz to rave reviews: “Netrebko’s voice is a real miracle, but above all, she makes her staging a total work of art.” At the closing evening of the 5th Winter Festival she will perform a programme consisting of works by Richard Strauss, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov and others, alongside internationally acclaimed artists Elena Maksimova (mezzo-soprano), Giovanni Andrea Zanon (violin) and Pavel Nebolsin (piano).
According to the recommendations of the National Institute of Public Health, all health services will be provided at the events.
