General and artistic director of Ljubljana Festival and honorary member of the European Festivals Association Darko Brlek with prof. dr. Jernej Weiss will present this year’s International Musicological Symposium. The head of Music Production and artistic director of the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra, Marija Maja Kojc, will talk about the opening concert, which will be dedicated to the composer Lojze Lebič. Conductor, artistic and musical director of the Maribor SNG Opera Simon Krečič will conduct a concert in memory of musicologist Primož Kuret. Composer and president of the Society of Slovenian Composers, Dušan Bavdek, will talk about the events Concert Atelier and Night of Slovenian Composers, and Domen Marinčič, musician and member of the Musica cubicularis ensemble, will speak about the concert in the Knights’ Hall of Brežice Castle. Veronika Brvar, president and artistic director of Glasbena matica Ljubljana, will present the final concert of lieder.
