AWAKENINGS THROUGH TIME

Who are we and where are we going? We are different, special, just like everyone. Dark, fair, long-haired, short-haired, tall, short… We have our own names which accompany us on our journey. A journey that is unique, ours, with special challenges, complex, intertwined and full of snares. There is always someone with us who helps us stand up, lift ourselves up and go towards the light and the happiness we all yearn for. I can stand, you can sit; I catch the ball, you roll it; someone else might lie down and catch it, like luck, which we are all chasing. So I dance and dream. Every day and forever.
Awakening through time – from birth until later life – is the theme of this year’s dance spectacle, to be created by Festival Ljubljana in collaboration with URI Soča and the project’s general sponsor Zavarovalnica Sava.

The concluding performance of the dance spectacle “Awakening Through Time” will take place at 6.00 p.m. on Tuesday, 28 August 2018 and will be open to the public.
