The interweaving of compositions of different types in one evening lends this concert a particular charm and gives the listener the chance to get to know the accordion as an instrument with numerous expressive possibilities. We will hear energetic melodies in a tango rhythm, folk-tinged music from the wider Balkan region, the music of the baroque period and also contemporary music full of the invention of new approaches to composition. Over the course of 15 years of appearances on concert platforms in Slovenia and abroad, Marko Hatlak has developed a unique and distinctive form of interaction with the audience. On this occasion too, he will tell humorous stories about the pieces he performs and will even accompany some of them with his own singing.
