In 1972, more precisely on 14th February, the musical Grease, written by its authors and directors, Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, was premiered for the first time. The nineteen fifties in the USA were marked by the golden age of rebellion and freedom. And all that by all means depicts the famous musical Grease. It is no wonder that it was repeated in its time from evening to evening on Broadway, for eight long years.
The excellent music and story of simple and innocent teenagers, accompanied by dance, has first captured the hearts of Americans and later on the hearts of European spectators and enthusiasts as well. Grease is considered the most popular show in the world. The story takes place at the Rydell High School, where the main hero Danny is hanging out with an interesting gang. The summer romance ends with the beginning of a new school year, when the holiday is over, but the memory of it lives in the dreams, intertwined by cars, dancing and singing, love and the story’s happy ending.
