Filip Kauch, born in 2009 in Kościan, began the piano aged eight with Marian Michałowicz at the Józef Surzyński Music School, and now studies with Maciej Pabich at the Jadwiga Kaliszewska Secondary Music School in Poznań. He has won over 36 international and national competitions, including the Grand Prix and three special prizes at the 22nd Polish National Piano Competition in Konin (2024), Special Distinction and five special prizes at the 31st International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition for Children and Youth in Szafarnia (2024), and the Special Helena Prize at the 12th International Piano Competition for Young Musicians in Enschede (2024). He also secured first prize and a special prize at the 10th Maurycy Moszkowski International Piano Competition “Per aspera ad astra” in Kielce (2023) and first prize at the 11th Halina and Ludwik Stefański Chopin Piano Tournament in Kraków (2023). Filip has studied with many renowned professors and performed in notable venues like Chopin’s Birthplace and Karol Szymanowski’s Atma Villa. In 2024, he performed Chopin’s Piano Concerto with the Lviv Chamber Orchestra and Maxime Orchestra. He has received scholarships from the Polish Minister of Culture, Rotary Club Poznań, and other institutions.

Ivan Petrenko is a young Ukrainian pianist renowned for his artistry and musicality. He started playing the piano at the age of four and a half, and debuted at seven. By eight he was winning first prizes in Ukrainian and international competitions, including a first prize in Prague. In 2021, he won first prize at the International Evgen Stankovych Competition in Kyiv. In 2023, he earned first prize at International Competition for Young Pianists in Brussels “Merci, maestro!” and second prize at the Rijnmond Music Prize 2023 in the Netherlands. At 11, he joined the Kyiv Lysenko State Music Lyceum with Tetiana Abaieva and, from September 2022, continued his studies at the Davidsbündler Music Academy in The Hague with Abaieva and Borys Fedorov. He has participated in events such as Podium Klassiek, the Pianoduo Festival in Amsterdam, and Festival Davidsbündler at Concertgebouw. In August 2023, he played with orchestras in the RCO Young project at Concertgebouw, Amsterdam, and Konzerthaus Berlin. He also won the International Volodymyr Krainev Competition for Young Pianists “Kharkiv Meets Zurich” and received a special prize at the International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition for Children and Youth in Szafarnia.
