This year’s winners of the Prešeren Fund Award, a sister and brother from the family Fink, are by all means the artists, who present most preciously the Slovenian performing art around the world. Their compact disc Slovenia!, released in the French Music Publishing House Harmonia mundi, presents 32 Slovenian lieder, which have thus become recognisable on the world music stage and also – as the connoisseurs put it – “an unexpected dream event”.

The two artists will present on their lied recital an interesting programme, including the most beautiful songs by Brahms, Schubert and Wolf, as well as some of the most excellent Slovenian songs. Their repertoire would of course not be complete without the lied repertoire from their »second homeland« – Argentina.
