Thirteen-year-old Georgian pianist Ekaterine Nikoladze began learning the piano at the age of six with Tinatin Endeladze at the music school in her hometown of Kutaisi. She has already won numerous prizes at national competitions in Georgia. She has also taken part in the Telavi International Music Festival and a national competition in Tbilisi. In 2016 she was invited to the Batumi Music Fest, where she attended a masterclass and won a special festival award. At the suggestion of the pianist Elisso Bolkvadze, who is also the artistic director of the Batumi Music Fest, Darko Brlek listened to Ekaterine and invited her to Ljubljana.

Tbilisi-born Ilia Lomtatidze is a 14-year-old musical talent who began learning the piano at the age of eight following the Michel Sogny method and is one of the most successful protégés of the latter’s SOS Talents Foundation. His concerts have been broadcast in 45 countries by Mezzo TV and TV 5 Monde. In 2015 Ilia won first prize at the international young pianists’ competition Astana Piano Passion in Kazakhstan, where he also received a special prize from the President of Kazakhstan, Mr Nursultan Nazarbayev. An extremely gifted young musician, he has been invited to numerous festivals, where he has given recitals and performed as a soloist with orchestras. He has performed in the Chamber Hall of the Astana Opera House and at the Sochi Festival and has been invited by Denis Matsuev to perform at the Stars on Baikal Festival. He has appeared with the Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra from Latvia, at the Auvers sur Oise and Annecy Classic festivals in France, at the gala concert of the SOS Talents Foundation at the Hotel Marcel Dassault in Paris and, in February 2017, at the United Nations Office in Geneva. He is currently studying at the E. Mikeladze Central Music School in Tbilisi in the class of Natalia Natsvlishvili.
